Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frimley Green's Anis Daouadji started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Nasreddine Bestandji had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Frimley Green's Zinedine Dahleb got a free kick in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Norby's Kasdi Nekkar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anis Daouadji in the 12th minute of play forced Norby's goalkeeper Madjid Khelfellah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 played minutes Frimley Green got a freekick which was hit by Zinedine Dahleb. Madjid Khelfellah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Menguellet, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Menad Boukensa lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Frimley Green:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Norby:s goal. Hamid Aliche had in the 22ndth minute some difficulties stopping Kasdi Nekkar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When Abdelkader Tobbal fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norby's protests and gave Abdelkader Tobbal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Abdelkader Tobbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zinedine Dahleb came free in the 26th minute and tried to tip the ball over Madjid Khelfellah, but to the joy of Norby's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Nasreddine Bestandji struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hamid Aliche didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norby. Ismael Menguellet might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Madjid Khelfellah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Menguellet ran back to his position shaking his head. Madjid Khelfellah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Menguellet in the 37th minute of the match. Nasreddine Bestandji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Aliche having to interfere. When Nasreddine Bestandji came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Norby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nasreddine Bestandji couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nasreddine Bestandji to make the kick off. Réda Dali Bey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Madjid Khelfellah having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Frimley Green's Ismael Menguellet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Madjid Khelfellah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Kasdi Nekkar's late challenge caught a Frimley Green's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasdi Nekkar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, Norby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kasdi Nekkar to maneuver through the defense. During the 76th minute of the match Kasdi Nekkar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kasdi Nekkar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Zinedine Dahleb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Menguellet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Madjid Khelfellah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Menguellet in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Norby got a freekick which was hit by Bellemou Béchar. Madjid Khelfellah made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ismael Menguellet sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Frimley Green's zone, Younes Béchar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Aliche came out of the goal and Younes Béchar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
