After 8 minutes, Rabah Arouani made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Soho AFC's Fateh Kensi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jussef Kermali made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naïm Allam in the 11th minute. Naïm Allam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jussef Kermali made a huge save. Naïm Allams short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Jussef Kermali to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Naïm Allam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jussef Kermali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lotfi Kosbi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Soho AFC's zone, Rabah Arouani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fateh Kensi came out of the goal and Rabah Arouani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Soho AFC's Lotfi Kosbi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ajdir Zakaria in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fateh Kensi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ali Bendjedid fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soho AFC's protests and gave Ali Bendjedid a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Bendjedid hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Ajdir Zakaria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashtead's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ajdir Zakaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Soho AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laïd El Karimi to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 36th minute Ashtead's Nadir Sabati took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Fateh Kensi and thus the score was 0-2. Fateh Kensi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rabah Arouani in the 42nd minute of the match. Jussef Kermali made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Naïm Allam sent off a good shot on target. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Soho AFC's Fateh Kensi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Soho AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ashtead booed when Soho AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelhalim Fadela didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rabah Arouani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Lotfi Kosbi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jussef Kermali was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Naïm Allam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jussef Kermali having to interfere. Abdelhalim Fadela hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute of the match Nadir Sabati shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fateh Kensi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Soho AFC's Laïd El Karimi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Fateh Kensi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ajdir Zakaria went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ajdir Zakaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ashtead's Afennich Bezzaz got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashtead's goalkeeper Jussef Kermali, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
