A collision led to Wickford United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ahmed El Ghazi hit a great ball. When Hamid Kerbouche came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Nassington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Kerbouche couldn't finish the play. Marwan Zeghdoud might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Assad Cherif. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marwan Zeghdoud ran back to his position shaking his head. Assad Cherif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamid Kerbouche in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Wickford United getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ahmed El Ghazi hit a great ball. Abdallah Daouadji received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Salah El Kettani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdallah Daouadji, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 41 minutes, Souad Khaldi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nassington FC and the Wickford United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Nassington FC's Souad Khaldi got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdallah Daouadji in the 45th minute of play forced Nassington FC's goalkeeper Salah El Kettani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 71 minutes, Abdallah Daouadji managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wickford United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdallah Daouadji was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 72 played minutes Nassington FC got a freekick which was hit by Mounaim Hasni. The supporters of Nassington FC booed when Wickford United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amine Zidane didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hamid Kerbouche came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Nassington FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamid Kerbouche couldn't finish the play. Assad Cherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamid Kerbouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Hamid Kerbouche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Assad Cherif read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ahmed El Ghazi hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute Hamid Kerbouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Assad Cherif saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Assad Cherif showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marwan Zeghdoud in the 90th minute of the match. If Marwan Zeghdoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wickford United's Assad Cherif played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Souad Khaldi in the 95th minute of play. The Wickford United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
