Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Abdelmoumène Sebihi fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stevenage's protests and gave Abdelmoumène Sebihi a yellow card for diving instead. Frawsen Belfaa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nazir Belhadj kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Assad Cherif showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fouad Bencheikh, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stevenage's goalkeeper Hatim Belhadj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Abdallah Daouadji recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Wickford United booed when Stevenage was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Yahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdallah Daouadji in the 22nd minute of play forced Stevenage's goalkeeper Hatim Belhadj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Hatim Belhadj managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Wickford United's Adel Aribi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet as Wickford United's Abdallah Daouadji slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hatim Belhadj. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. With his leg Hatim Belhadj managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Wickford United's Adel Aribi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hatim Belhadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdallah Daouadji in the 37th minute of play. If Adel Aribi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdallah Daouadji fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatim Belhadj having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fouad Bencheikh did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Assad Cherif 69 minutes into the match. Fouad Bencheikh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Assad Cherif having to interfere. A collision led to Stevenage getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Halim Kosbi hit a great ball. Ahmed El Ghazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hatim Belhadj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Wickford United's goalkeeper Assad Cherif had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fouad Bencheikh. Hatim Belhadj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdallah Daouadji in the 90th minute of play. Abdallah Daouadji sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hatim Belhadj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdallah Daouadji, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
