Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thamesmead's Dylan Benyagoub started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thamesmead's Asmil El Ouazzani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulhamid Zafour in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamid Zafour in the 5th minute of play forced Thamesmead's goalkeeper Asmil El Ouazzani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Asmil El Ouazzani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulhamid Zafour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Hocine Karim managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Thamesmead's Baligh Bahari fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 9 played minutes Romsey FC got a freekick which was hit by Belkacem Hanous. Baligh Bahari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Hocine Karim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thamesmead's Dylan Benyagoub got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dylan Benyagoub struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Hocine Karim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thamesmead. Dylan Benyagoub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thamesmead's Asmil El Ouazzani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulhamid Zafour in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Abdelnacer Hanister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asmil El Ouazzani was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Romsey FC booed when Thamesmead was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramzi Said didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Thamesmead's Dylan Benyagoub slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hocine Karim. That made the score 1-2 after 47 minutes of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdelnacer Hanister stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Thamesmead's Dylan Benyagoub in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asmil El Ouazzani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abdelnacer Hanister struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Asmil El Ouazzani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Romsey FC. Dylan Benyagoub struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Hocine Karim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Thamesmead. Toufik Saci didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Romsey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Benyagoub came free, but Hocine Karim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute of the match Thamesmead got a corner. Romsey FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Younes Benbitour ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Abdelnacer Hanister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romsey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelnacer Hanister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asmil El Ouazzani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sofiane Khadra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asmil El Ouazzani having to make a save. Hocine Karim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baligh Bahari, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Baligh Bahari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Hocine Karim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dylan Benyagoub's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hocine Karim was relentless in the 100th minute of the game. The Thamesmead supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Romsey FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Romsey FC.
