The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mansour Faudel came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Bentworth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mansour Faudel couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Abdelnacer Hanister managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romsey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdelnacer Hanister was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jounaidi Mazari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Mansour Faudel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Ismaël Benzine sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hocine Karim skillfully saved the ball. Hocine Karim had in the 67thth minute some difficulties stopping Imad Zaaf's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After a rather tough play, Romsey FC's Abdelnacer Hanister got a free kick in the 78th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bentworth's Imad Zaaf tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Romsey FC defense, Abdelaziz Zemmouri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hocine Karim.
