In the 12thth minute of the game Mansour Faudel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thamesmead's Asmil El Ouazzani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Bentworth's goal looked a bit too open when Baligh Bahari came free, but Jounaidi Mazari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bentworth's Mansour Faudel got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute Mansour Faudel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmil El Ouazzani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdelaziz Zemmouri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Mansour Faudel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Asmil El Ouazzani was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Bentworth's goal looked a bit too open when Dylan Benyagoub came free, but Jounaidi Mazari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Thamesmead's goalkeeper Asmil El Ouazzani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bentworth's Mansour Faudel got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Bentworth fans cheered their team off the field, for while Thamesmead had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
