The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ismael Mekhloufi might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chahine Malek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ismael Mekhloufi ran back to his position shaking his head. Ayoub Menguellet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Chahine Malek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Abdelhak Bougherra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hawkcombe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 12th match minute, Hawkcombe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Sahnouni to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hawkcombe getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ayoub Menguellet hit a great ball. A hard shot by Maamar Debbagh from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Amdegh Damardji's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Amdegh Damardji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amine Messayeb, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noureddine Kraouche got free with Amdegh Damardji in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ilan Salhi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, Ismael Mekhloufi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Chahine Malek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdelhak Bougherra struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Chahine Malek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hawkcombe. Amdegh Damardji made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amine Messayeb in the 40th minute of play. Ismael Mekhloufi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilan Salhi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 58th minute Amine Messayeb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amdegh Damardji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hawkcombe defense, Noureddine Kraouche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amdegh Damardji. The Hawkcombe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amdegh Damardji should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Hawkcombe getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Abdelhak Bougherra hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Noureddine Kraouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amdegh Damardji saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noureddine Kraouche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Amdegh Damardji tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amine Messayeb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amdegh Damardji read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Abdelhak Bougherra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chahine Malek having to interfere. Abdelhak Bougherra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute, Ali Sahnouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Maamar Debbagh sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hawkcombe's Amdegh Damardji didn't even have to move. Amdegh Damardji showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noureddine Kraouche, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Amine Messayeb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ismael Mekhloufi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hawkcombe's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Mekhloufi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chahine Malek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Hawkcombe's Abdelhak Bougherra, in the 94th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Hawkcombe. The Bromley AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hawkcombe's performance. The match ended with a win for Hawkcombe.
