Brighton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheikha Saâdallah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Menad Fadhil made the kick off in the second half. Brighton City's Mimoun Zaccari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Menad Fadhil in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menad Fadhil in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mimoun Zaccari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moïse Achiu did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-1 to the left of a surprised Mimoun Zaccari 71 minutes into the match. Moïse Achiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Mimoun Zaccari made a huge save. Lakhdar Aribi struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Malek Belloumi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton City. Menad Fadhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mimoun Zaccari having to interfere. When Lakhdar Aribi came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Brighton City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lakhdar Aribi couldn't finish the play. If Moïse Achiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trimley FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
