Meziane Boufroura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mimoun Zaccari having to interfere. Ahmis Abdelkrim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ahmis Abdelkrim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romford FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmis Abdelkrim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mimoun Zaccari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Cheikha Saâdallah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Zemirli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cheikha Saâdallah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Farid Zemirli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakhdar Aribi in the 25th minute of play. If Ahmis Abdelkrim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmis Abdelkrim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Mimoun Zaccari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd match minute, Brighton City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moncef Benaouf to maneuver through the defense. Brighton City's Mimoun Zaccari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meziane Boufroura in the 36th minute of play. If Ahmis Abdelkrim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mimoun Zaccari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meziane Boufroura in the 42nd minute of play. Romford FC's Farid Zemirli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lakhdar Aribi in the 47th minute of play. The Romford FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brighton City were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cheikha Saâdallah to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Brighton City's Cheikha Saâdallah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farid Zemirli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cheikha Saâdallah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Farid Zemirli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mimoun Zaccari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Meziane Boufroura in the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Ahmis Abdelkrim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romford FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmis Abdelkrim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Romford FC's Amar Saâdallah got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Romford FC's zone, Lakhdar Aribi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Zemirli came out of the goal and Lakhdar Aribi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmis Abdelkrim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meziane Boufroura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mimoun Zaccari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmis Abdelkrim might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mimoun Zaccari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmis Abdelkrim ran back to his position shaking his head. Farid Zemirli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cheikha Saâdallah, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute Meziane Boufroura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mimoun Zaccari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Brighton City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
