In the 42nd minute, Yunes Maâti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bilal Aliche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anas Sam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fadi Mansouri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bellemou Ataïlyya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amar Rodesli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anas Sam in the 66th minute of play. If Fadi Mansouri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Anas Sam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amar Rodesli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chippenham FC were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Whitchurch City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kylian Amsallem took the corner. The corner ended in Kylian Amsallem almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Whitchurch City's Amar Rodesli did a great save. Yunes Maâti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amar Rodesli having to interfere. In the 84th match minute, Whitchurch City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Aliche to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Anas Sam sped through Whitchurch City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amar Rodesli. Lounès Aïssaoui might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bellemou Ataïlyya. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lounès Aïssaoui ran back to his position shaking his head. Bellemou Ataïlyya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fadi Mansouri in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Lounès Aïssaoui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitchurch City's supporters rose to their feet, but Lounès Aïssaoui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bellemou Ataïlyya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite being the better team, Whitchurch City failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
