In the 28thth minute of the game Bouziane Arouani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chadderton United's Anwa Chedda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fouad Bendissari acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Akziz Feraoun. 33 minutes into the game, Amjad Kahouadji was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chadderton United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stratford-upon-Avon the free kick. With a little luck, Stratford-upon-Avon's Fouad Bendissari got control of the ball when Badda Aïn Madhi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stratford-upon-Avon reached it.
