Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Abingdon's Hamid Aliche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Arsalane Benyoucef left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abingdon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Lakhdar Moussa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratford-upon-Avon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abingdon the free kick. In the 9th match minute, Stratford-upon-Avon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Moussa to maneuver through the defense. Hamid Aliche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Fouad Bendissari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abingdon's Arsalane Benyoucef in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stratford-upon-Avon's goalie prevented a goal. Fouad Bendissari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamid Aliche in the 18th minute of play. Stratford-upon-Avon's Fouad Bendissari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsalane Benyoucef in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Abingdon getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hamid Aliche hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Bouziane Arouani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stratford-upon-Avon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abingdon the free kick. Lakhdar Moussa scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karim Bencheikh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Lakhdar Moussa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fouad Bendissari came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Abingdon's Hamid Aliche. But to his dismay, Hamid Aliche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Abingdon were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Bouziane Arouani made the kick off in the second half. Arsalane Benyoucef fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fouad Bendissari having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Abingdon's Hamid Aliche slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fouad Bendissari. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. Abingdon's Arsalane Benyoucef got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stratford-upon-Avon's Fouad Bendissari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Stratford-upon-Avon from getting a goal against them. Hakim Boniche's late challenge caught a Abingdon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Boniche helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Stratford-upon-Avon getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Hakim Boniche hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Lakhdar Moussa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Youssef Benali's late challenge caught a Stratford-upon-Avon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Youssef Benali helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Abingdon getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Youssef Benali hit a great ball. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Abingdon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Asmil Rzighi was slow to take the kick. During this time Stratford-upon-Avon's players had a chance to rest. Bouziane Arouani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Karim Bencheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Lakhdar Moussa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abingdon's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
