An unexpectedly hard shot by Khelifa Kazi-Tani in the 12th minute of play forced Mablethorpe's goalkeeper Faudel Ghennouchi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Mablethorpe's Yanis Zeghdoud ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abdul El Aychi. Abdul El Aychi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jussef Meriem got free with Abdul El Aychi in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Mablethorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Khelifa Kazi-Tani came free, but Faudel Ghennouchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Mablethorpe's Abdul El Aychi threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Yanis Zeghdoud, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Jussef Meriem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mablethorpe's supporters rose to their feet, but Jussef Meriem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdul El Aychi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Yapton fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! Aissa Zerari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yanis Zeghdoud might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul El Aychi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yanis Zeghdoud ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Yapton's Amayas Halimi got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Aissa Zerari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Khelifa Kazi-Tani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yapton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khelifa Kazi-Tani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Yapton's Khelifa Kazi-Tani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faudel Ghennouchi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mablethorpe had won after a very even match.
