Kateb Yahia got in the 12th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Iher Benali handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Bristol Kingswood's Iher Benali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lyes Dhahhak in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kateb Yahia in the 25th minute of play forced Bristol Kingswood's goalkeeper Iher Benali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iher Benali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyes Dhahhak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lyes Dhahhak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iher Benali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kateb Yahia in the 34th minute of play. Thelma Mezdad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aydril Amirouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Bristol Kingswood's goal looked a bit too open when Lyes Dhahhak came free, but Iher Benali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyes Dhahhak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iher Benali read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aydril Amirouche to strike the kick off in the second half.
