The referee ignored Dersingham City's protests and gave Belkheir Chaouchi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chester booed when Dersingham City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belkheir Chaouchi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Maarouf Hanous shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaber Boumedienne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Badaz Aflelou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Sahrane Belfaa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersingham City the free kick. A collision led to Chester getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sahrane Belfaa hit a great ball. Ahmed Deghmani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mesbah Ben Bella, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Dersingham City's zone, Boumedienne Kourichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaber Boumedienne came out of the goal and Boumedienne Kourichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Dersingham City's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Cixous came free, but Jaber Boumedienne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Cixous sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Boumedienne Kourichi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaber Boumedienne. Dersingham City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boumedienne Kourichi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Cixous was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boumedienne Kourichi got free with Jaber Boumedienne in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mesbah Ben Bella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mesbah Ben Bella came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Dersingham City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mesbah Ben Bella couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute, Mesbah Ben Bella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Omar Cixous ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaber Boumedienne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Omar Cixous had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Dassi Boukensa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
