The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Farid Mammech during the 2nd minute. Farid Mammech kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Codnor City's goal looked a bit too open when Anis Drioueche came free, but Hani Bouzina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Daniel Chebli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pensby City's Anis Drioueche got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Pensby City's Anis Drioueche slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hani Bouzina. That made the score 1-0 after 30 minutes of play. Daniel Chebli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 minutes, Madjer Touati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Codnor City and the Pensby City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Codnor City's Madjer Touati got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Anis Drioueche made the kick off in the second half. Hani Bouzina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Chebli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes of play, Pensby City's Anis Drioueche made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hani Bouzina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 61 played minutes Pensby City got a freekick which was hit by Farid Mammech. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pensby City's goalkeeper Rabah Belhouche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Pensby City got a freekick which was hit by Djallel Zidane. Fayçal Daoud's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rabah Belhouche read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Pensby City getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Farid Mammech hit a great ball. A hard shot 69 in the game by Fayçal Daoud from a close distance when the talented Rabah Belhouche managed to make a qualified save. Pensby City's players were relieved. After 72 played minutes Codnor City got a freekick which was hit by Bakir Soltani. Daniel Chebli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hani Bouzina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Fayçal Daoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Codnor City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fayçal Daoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rabah Belhouche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 89th minute Aflawas Amsallem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rabah Belhouche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fayçal Daoud charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fayçal Daoud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Codnor City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fayçal Daoud to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pensby City had played much better football throughout.
