After a rather tough play, Rothley FC's Abdelmalik Ihaddaden got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Lounès Firoud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rothley FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lounès Firoud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chamseddine Ihidjaten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohamed Zitouni having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Sahrane Akvayli made a precise shot to the right of Abed Soltani. Countesthorpe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Countesthorpe's Chamseddine Ihidjaten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohamed Zitouni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sahrane Akvayli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Abed Soltani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Lounès Firoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abed Soltani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohamed Zitouni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chamseddine Ihidjaten in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Ilyes Moussa had to leave the field with a concussion. Ghanim Hadfi's late challenge caught a Rothley FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ghanim Hadfi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rothley FC booed when Countesthorpe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ghanim Hadfi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bakki Nekkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bakki Nekkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mohamed Zitouni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lounès Firoud in the 40th minute of play forced Countesthorpe's goalkeeper Abed Soltani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Countesthorpe's Bakki Nekkar got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rothley FC's Mohamed Zitouni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chamseddine Ihidjaten in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chamseddine Ihidjaten to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Chamseddine Ihidjaten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mohamed Zitouni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 58th minute Chamseddine Ihidjaten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mohamed Zitouni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes, Haider Izghen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rothley FC and the Countesthorpe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mohamed Zitouni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Lounès Firoud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bakki Nekkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chamseddine Ihidjaten in the 79th minute of play forced Rothley FC's goalkeeper Mohamed Zitouni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 minutes of play, Countesthorpe's Rayan Mamouni made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohamed Zitouni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lounès Firoud struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Abed Soltani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rothley FC. Thanks to some nice moves Lounès Firoud could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Abed Soltani however easily saved by the left post. Countesthorpe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rothley FC for a fine match.
