Ajdir Messaoudi came out and tried to block the shot, but Adan Belkhadem slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adan Belkhadem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Adan Khabatou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ajdir Messaoudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Belkhadem in the 58th minute of play. Adan Belkhadem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajdir Messaoudi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mokhtar Kahouadji in the 62nd minute of play forced SUNSHINE FC's goalkeeper Ammuch Kouri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Rugby fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Rugby's Hamid Amara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 71 minutes into the match, SUNSHINE FC's goalkeeper Ammuch Kouri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamid Amara. In the 72nd match minute, Rugby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fouad Ouatah to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SUNSHINE FC's zone, Mokhtar Kahouadji stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ammuch Kouri came out of the goal and Mokhtar Kahouadji tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SUNSHINE FC's Ammuch Kouri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SUNSHINE FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamid Amara got free with Ammuch Kouri in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rachid Brahmi might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ajdir Messaoudi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rachid Brahmi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 played minutes Rugby got a freekick which was hit by Fouad Ouatah. Ajdir Messaoudi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Belkhadem in the 95th minute of play.
