Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Custódio Ramos took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Galão in the 3rd minute of play forced Henley on Thames's goalkeeper Paulo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Galão hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Paulo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Valies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Valies in the 18th minute of play forced Henley on Thames's goalkeeper Paulo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Henley on Thames's zone, Miguel Varanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Guedes came out of the goal and Miguel Varanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Dikaté fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Guedes having to interfere. Heitor Freire's late challenge caught a FC VALENTES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heitor Freire helped the player get up and apologised. Heitor Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rodrigo Moco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Henley on Thames's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Moco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evaristo Regalado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Carvoeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evaristo Regalado. FC VALENTES's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Custódio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to FC VALENTES getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Carlos Galão hit a great ball. Evaristo Regalado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Paulo Valies hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Eduardo Apalanga hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When Custódio Ramos got free in front of the goal in the 57th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Evaristo Regalado was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Cláudio Carvoeiro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Evaristo Regalado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Henley on Thames. In the 71stth minute of the game Custódio Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC VALENTES's Evaristo Regalado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Valies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Carvoeiro hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes got control of the ball when Miguel Varanda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Valies in the 77th minute of the match. Paulo Guedes was a little too slow when Paulo Valies got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-1. In the 88th minute, Paulo Valies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Custódio Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Regalado was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC VALENTES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
