Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Custódio Ramos started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames's Cláudio Carvoeiro got a free kick in the 10th minute. The supporters of West Drayton FC booed when Henley on Thames was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Carvoeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Guedes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Toni Amado. The audience was convinced that Custódio Ramos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marílio Pepetela was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Hélio Fontão put in a rough tackle. The supporters of West Drayton FC booed when Henley on Thames was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Amado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Guedes having to make a save. In the 24th minute of the game, Heitor Freire landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Rolando Malheiro fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored West Drayton FC's protests and gave Rolando Malheiro a yellow card for diving instead. Rolando Malheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Paulo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Amado in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes, Lourenço Polido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Drayton FC and the Henley on Thames players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Henley on Thames booed when West Drayton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lourenço Polido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Alda Sampaio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes. Paulo Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Amado in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toni Amado made a kick off. Paulo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Malheiro in the 54th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Alda Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Paulo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alda Sampaio in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, Rolando Malheiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute Alda Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Alda Sampaio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 79 minutes of play, West Drayton FC's Toni Amado made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alda Sampaio in the 82nd minute of play forced Henley on Thames's goalkeeper Paulo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Amado came free, but Paulo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Guedes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by West Drayton FC's Alda Sampaio. But to his dismay, Alda Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 92 minutes into the game, West Drayton FC's Rolando Malheiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0.
