In the 23rdth minute of the game Custódio Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Evandro Mulenza FC's Custódio Rochedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Custódio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Bastos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Paulo Guedes made a huge save. The supporters of Evandro Mulenza FC booed when Henley on Thames was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Henley on Thames from getting a goal against them. Paulo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Henley on Thames getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Hélio Fontão hit a great ball. Custódio Ramos charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Custódio Ramos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Custódio Rochedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Cláudio Carvoeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Custódio Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Caneças charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Evandro Mulenza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Caneças was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Bastos took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Guedes. Paulo Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rolando Godinho kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Evandro Mulenza FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
