Custódio Canales started the match with the kick off. Os Intocaveis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregório Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Custódio Canales came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Peterlee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Custódio Canales couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Os Intocaveis getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gregório Maurito hit a great ball. After the first half Peterlee were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hortêncio Quilempan made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Vítor Serineu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Zamora was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Gregório Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Canales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gregório Sampaio in the 65th minute. Os Intocaveis's Edgar Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Canales in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Os Intocaveis's Fábio Galão got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gregório Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Canales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Edgar Zamora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Custódio Canales scored 0-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Zamora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Custódio Canales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Zamora. The goal made the score 0-3. The Os Intocaveis fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Peterlee were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
