Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Paulo Teive took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barritos Fc's Paulo Teive got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 7 played minutes, Barritos Fc's Albertino Gonçalves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hélio Nascimento came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barritos Fc reached it. 8 minutes into the match, Hedge End FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Teive came free, but Hélio Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th play minute Cláudio Nascimento came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Guedes. 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Felíx Preto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barritos Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hedge End FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Barritos Fc got a freekick which was hit by Felíx Preto. In the 16th minute of the match Saúl Rochedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Guedes skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Barritos Fc getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Fábio Samakuva hit a great ball. Barritos Fc's Rui Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Barritos Fc from getting a goal against them. If Paulo Varanda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Barritos Fc's Paulo Varanda, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Barritos Fc. Hélio Nascimento came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Barritos Fc's Paulo Teive. But to his dismay, Paulo Teive quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paulo Teive's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hélio Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Hedge End FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Sá to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Teive sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Sá's late challenge caught a Barritos Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Sá helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Hedge End FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Sá. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Rui Guedes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Pedrosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedrosa in the 51st minute of play forced Barritos Fc's goalkeeper Rui Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 52nd minute, Cláudio Nascimento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zé Pedrosa came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Hedge End FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Pedrosa couldn't finish the play. When Hedge End FC's Cláudio Nascimento in 55 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Rui Guedes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The Hedge End FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Hedge End FC's Cláudio Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Cláudio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Pedrosa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Rui Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hedge End FC. In the 62nd minute Cláudio Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hedge End FC booed when Barritos Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Varanda in the 74th minute of the match. Paulo Varanda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Hélio Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hedge End FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pedro Rebello hit a great ball. Paulo Varanda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Barritos Fc booed when Hedge End FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélio Nascimento stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Varanda came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 86 minute. 88 minutes into the game, Lourenço Quilempan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barritos Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hedge End FC the free kick. Paulo Teive kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
