Birmingham Kings Heath AFC's Neide Guedes got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 15 minutes, Zé Pedrosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hedge End FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedrosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hélio Nascimento acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from David Onas. After 25 played minutes Birmingham Kings Heath AFC got a freekick which was hit by Saúl Carvoeiro. Hélio Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neide Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After a rather tough play, Hedge End FC's Hector Sá got a free kick in the 30th minute. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
