Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Custódio Matta kicked off to start the match. When Saúl Vasques fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wymondhaq's protests and gave Saúl Vasques a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wymondhaq's Saúl Vasques got a free kick in the 3rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Custódio Matta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rui Rebello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Custódio Matta's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. The supporters of Wymondhaq booed when Great Ayton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Almedia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmano Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Jaka Jamba in the 7th minute of play. Delmano Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Jaka Jamba in the 8th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, Wymondhaq's Ambrósio Clérigo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmano Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Pedro Amado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Jaka Jamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Delmano Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Great Ayton's Felíx Dos Santos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 31 minutes into the game, Luís Flores was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wymondhaq's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Great Ayton the free kick. Luís Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rui Rebello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompílio Melo in the 32nd minute. With a little luck, Wymondhaq's Rui Rebello got control of the ball when Custódio Matta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th play minute Custódio Matta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Rebello. 2-1. Rolando Jaka Jamba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Delmano Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivó Pepetela in the 38th minute of play forced Great Ayton's goalkeeper Delmano Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmano Nascimento came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Wymondhaq's Ambrósio Clérigo. But to his dismay, Ambrósio Clérigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, Wymondhaq's Rui Rebello got control of the ball when Custódio Matta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wymondhaq's Rui Rebello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Wymondhaq from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Jaka Jamba made a kick off. Custódio Matta scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Rebello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Ambrósio Clérigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmano Nascimento. That made the score 3-3 in the 55 minute of play. If Ambrósio Clérigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Jaka Jamba in the 60th minute of play forced Great Ayton's goalkeeper Delmano Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rolando Jaka Jamba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 66 in the game by Rolando Jaka Jamba from a close distance when the talented Delmano Nascimento managed to make a qualified save. Great Ayton's players were relieved. Rui Rebello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Ganete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes, Felíx Dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Great Ayton and the Wymondhaq players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felíx Dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Ivó Pepetela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute of the match, Pedro Amado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Delmano Nascimento was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Wymondhaq's Pedro Amado got a free kick in the 78th minute. The Great Ayton fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Great Ayton's Custódio Matta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute, Custódio Matta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rui Rebello was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. The audience was convinced that Custódio Matta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rui Rebello was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Rui Rebello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Custódio Matta went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-3 was the resulting score. Rolando Jaka Jamba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Delmano Nascimento made a huge save. In the 95th minute, Felíx Dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Great Ayton fans cheered their team off the field, for while Wymondhaq had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
