The supporters of Fieldmoor booed when FC Doornaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Madima didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eric Mandela was a little too slow when Freddie Mandela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 4-0.

A collision led to FC Doornaar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dean Madima hit a great ball. Lindo Thompson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jocob Arendse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lindo Thompson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jocob Arendse's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Jocob Arendse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lindo Thompson having to interfere. Enock Konza hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Jocob Arendse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lindo Thompson. The goal made the score 4-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Doornaar's goalkeeper Eric Mandela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jocob Arendse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Fieldmoor's Lindo Thompson got control of the ball when Patrick Koen tried to sneak it across the goal line.
