Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hanile Radebe got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hanile Radebe in the 5th minute of play forced Zolile FC's goalkeeper Basil Mfeke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Zolile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Thabang to maneuver through the defense. Steve Kubheka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Vuyo Collins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hanile Radebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th match minute, Zolile FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lungie Thwala to maneuver through the defense. Basil Mfeke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John Mafuna's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ewbank's Vuyo Collins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Mumede in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ewbank's John Mafuna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil Mfeke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Zolile FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Harry Thabang hit a great ball. Steve Kubheka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanile Radebe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil Mfeke having to make a save. John Mafuna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Mfeke having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, John Mafuna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ewbank's supporters rose to their feet, but John Mafuna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basil Mfeke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Silas Mumede made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Zolile FC's Mpenza Tshabalala got a free kick in the 59th minute. Basil Mfeke acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Solly Stoltz. After 64 played minutes Zolile FC got a freekick which was hit by Musa Mandela. Basil Mfeke came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Ewbank's John Mafuna. But to his dismay, John Mafuna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. John Mafuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Steve Kubheka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vuyo Collins was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Vuyo Collins was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 played minutes, Ewbank's Mpenza Laher shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basil Mfeke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ewbank reached it. Vuyo Collins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Mumede in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Silas Mumede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zolile FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Mumede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vuyo Collins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Ewbank players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
