Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Noxolo Sephiri kicked off to start the match. The referee gave FC Ajax a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Raymond Koen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Cloeteskraal's Mabusela Machete. 1-0. Kenny Patel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Joseph Mncube shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sizwe Okpara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Mncube in the 15th minute of play forced FC Ajax's goalkeeper Sizwe Okpara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenny Patel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Kenny Patel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sizwe Okpara was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Kenny Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sizwe Okpara having to interfere. Kenny Patel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Sizwe Okpara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenny Patel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Mncube fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sizwe Okpara having to interfere. In the 41st minute of the game, Noxolo Klein landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 41 minutes into the game, Madolo Kekana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Cloeteskraal the free kick. Madolo Kekana hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Joseph Mncube's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sizwe Okpara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Mncube made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Joseph Mncube made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ajax's Sizwe Okpara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When FC Ajax's David Patel in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Cloeteskraal's goalie prevented a goal. After 62 minutes of play, FC Ajax's David Patel made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mabusela Machete was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mabusela Machete came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ajax's Noxolo Sephiri. But to his dismay, Noxolo Sephiri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Nazeer Mumede charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nazeer Mumede the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Nazeer Mumede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mabusela Machete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noxolo Sephiri's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. With a little luck, FC Ajax's Sizwe Okpara got control of the ball when Joseph Mncube tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 82 minutes, Joseph Mncube managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cloeteskraal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Mncube was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute of the match Raymond Koen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mabusela Machete skillfully saved the ball. David Patel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 97 played minutes, FC Ajax's Timothy Liau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mabusela Machete came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Ajax reached it.
