When Hanile Komani came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Kleinchwaing fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanile Komani couldn't finish the play. A collision led to The Green Machine getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Edries Mabele hit a great ball. After 9 played minutes The Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Edries Mabele. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismail Mncube during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ismail Mncube kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bomikaze Strauss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Soloman Sephiri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in The Green Machine's zone, Sibongile Mabele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazarus Dube came out of the goal and Sibongile Mabele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lazarus Dube came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Kleinchwaing's Sibongile Mabele. But to his dismay, Sibongile Mabele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lazarus Dube didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hanile Komani went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hanile Komani was the one to do the kick off. The Green Machine's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hanile Komani 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sibongile Madima in the 65th minute of play forced Kleinchwaing's goalkeeper Soloman Sephiri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Green Machine's Lazarus Dube proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save The Green Machine from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Sibongile Mabele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kleinchwaing's supporters rose to their feet, but Sibongile Mabele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazarus Dube breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soloman Sephiri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sibongile Madima, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Hanile Komani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Hanile Komani fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lazarus Dube, passed just outside the right post. Sibongile Mabele might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lazarus Dube. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sibongile Mabele ran back to his position shaking his head. Kleinchwaing's Sibongile Mabele got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 played minutes The Green Machine got a freekick which was hit by Edries Mabele. In the 85thth minute of the game Hanile Komani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Green Machine's Lazarus Dube was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thabo Mathibe in the 91st minute of play forced Kleinchwaing's goalkeeper Soloman Sephiri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sibongile Mabele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kleinchwaing were awarded a corner in the 99th minute after The Green Machine's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismail Mncube took the corner. After taking down the ball on Kleinchwaing's corner Ismail Mncube fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lazarus Dube quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Kleinchwaing eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
