Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sibongile Madima got the match started through his kick off. Lazarus Dube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tebogo Mayoyo in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Siphahleni getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Papi Collins hit a great ball. Siphahleni's Sanjay Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sibongile Madima in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Bomikaze Strauss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in The Green Machine's zone, Papi Collins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazarus Dube came out of the goal and Papi Collins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papi Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lazarus Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bomikaze Strauss got free with Sanjay Smith in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Siphahleni's goalkeeper Sanjay Smith had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bomikaze Strauss. An unexpectedly hard shot by Papi Collins in the 39th minute of play forced The Green Machine's goalkeeper Lazarus Dube to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, The Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lebang Takane to maneuver through the defense. Lazarus Dube took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Mufadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Steve Mufadi to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Steve Mufadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siphahleni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Mufadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Green Machine's Lazarus Dube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steve Mufadi in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Steve Mufadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siphahleni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Mufadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Steve Mufadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes of play, The Green Machine's Sibongile Madima made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sanjay Smith was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lazarus Dube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Steve Mufadi's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Papi Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Papi Collins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th match minute, The Green Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edries Mabele to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Siphahleni's Thomas Sephadi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lazarus Dube came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Siphahleni reached it. When the match was over Siphahleni could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than The Green Machine throughout the match.
