Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Elias Komani kicked off to start the match. 6 minutes into the game, Rabelani Maduna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kift boys f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Papfontein the free kick. The supporters of FC Papfontein booed when Kift boys f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rabelani Maduna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Liau hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Albert Bartlett's shot from long distance in the 12th minute was not bad at all, but FC Papfontein's Daniel Dube knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. If Etienne Mayoyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alpheus Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mthunzi Maduna in the 21st minute of the match. Delron Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Alpheus Takane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mthunzi Maduna in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Papfontein's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Komani came free, but Daniel Dube reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, FC Papfontein's goalkeeper Daniel Dube had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Mangope. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mthunzi Maduna in the 39th minute of play forced Kift boys f.c's goalkeeper Alpheus Takane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kift boys f.c getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rabelani Maduna hit a great ball. Etienne Mayoyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delron Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Joseph Mangope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joseph Mangope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Shaheed Melele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes FC Papfontein got a freekick which was hit by Enock Magakula. In the 66th minute, Albert Bartlett sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Papfontein's Daniel Dube didn't even have to move. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Etienne Mayoyo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alpheus Takane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Etienne Mayoyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alpheus Takane having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Kift boys f.c's goalkeeper Alpheus Takane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mthunzi Maduna. Etienne Mayoyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alpheus Takane having to interfere. Mthunzi Madunas short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Alpheus Takane to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 93 minutes into the game, Ivan Bandura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alpheus Takane. Ivan Bandura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Kift boys f.c. Albert Bartlett stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Daniel Dube. 2-3.
