Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Norman Mbule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dean Macheke, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Gawesa's goal looked a bit too open when Etienne Mbule came free, but Musa Shongwe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Etienne Tembe's late challenge caught a Gawesa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etienne Tembe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Watergang f.c's Etienne Tembe got a free kick in the 10th minute. Etienne Mbule struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Musa Shongwe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watergang f.c. Norman Mbule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Macheke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Watergang f.c booed when Gawesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jafta Lekgwathi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Etienne Mbule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Collins struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Norman Mbule didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gawesa. Dean Macheke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norman Mbule having to make a save. In the 25th minute, Jafta Konza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gawesa's zone, Etienne Mbule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Musa Shongwe came out of the goal and Etienne Mbule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Etienne Mbule had several of the Gawesa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Musa Shongwe as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Gawesa's Milton Sono got a free kick in the 41st minute.

If Jafta Konza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Musa Shongwe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Mbule in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Etienne Mbule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Musa Shongwe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Nick Mahlangu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gawesa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watergang f.c the free kick. In the 67th minute, Ivan Komani sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Gawesa's Musa Shongwe didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Watergang f.c defense, Dumisane Madiya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norman Mbule. The Watergang f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norman Mbule should have stopped the shot. Dean Macheke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norman Mbule having to interfere. Watergang f.c's Jafta Konza got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 83 minutes of play, Watergang f.c's Etienne Mbule made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Musa Shongwe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jafta Lekgwathi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Watergang f.c fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gawesa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
