Harry Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Papi Shongwe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lungie Dube kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The long shot by Jocob Thobejane in the 11th minute really tested Nazeer Mandela's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Qwakazana getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Lungie Dube hit a great ball. Maxwell Mbheki struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Nazeer Mandela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bothasrus. In the 20th minute Thami Mokhasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nazeer Mandela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bothasrus's Nazeer Mandela threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thami Mokhasi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the last second Nazeer Mandela throw himself and got hold of the ball when Thami Mokhasi in the 31stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 39 minutes, Francis Patel made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bothasrus's Papi Shongwe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maxwell Mbheki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nazeer Mandela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Thami Mokhasi made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Maxwell Mbheki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bothasrus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxwell Mbheki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Maxwell Mbheki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 played minutes Bothasrus got a freekick which was hit by David Laher. 77 minutes into the match, Qwakazana's goal looked a bit too open when Thami Mokhasi came free, but Nazeer Mandela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lungie Dube's late challenge caught a Bothasrus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lungie Dube helped the player get up and apologised. Nazeer Mandela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thami Mokhasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute, Maxwell Mbheki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francis Patel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nazeer Mandela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thami Mokhasi in the 97th minute of the match. The Qwakazana players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
