Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MaveriQ FC's Patrice Vanker started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MaveriQ FC's Jason Mathibe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathibela Wanani in the 5th minute of play. Jason Mathibe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jafta Dinha, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Jason Mathibe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathibela Wanani in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Paris Saint city booed when MaveriQ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Arendse didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Jafta Dinha notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MaveriQ FC's Jason Mathibe. Jason Mathibe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrice Vanker in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boyisani Machete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 18 played minutes Paris Saint city got a freekick which was hit by Promise Miti. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint city's Thabile Radebe got a free kick in the 20th minute. Boyisani Machete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyisani Mnisi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jason Mathibe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathibela Wanani in the 29th minute of play. Thabile Radebe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathibela Wanani in the 33rd minute of play forced MaveriQ FC's goalkeeper Jason Mathibe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Paris Saint city was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edries Khomane to maneuver through the defense. A long shot from Nkosi Smith in the 35th minute of play was well struck, but Boyisani Machete made a really good save at the right post. When Patrice Vanker fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MaveriQ FC's protests and gave Patrice Vanker a yellow card for diving instead. When Mathibela Wanani came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Paris Saint city fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathibela Wanani couldn't finish the play. Stanton Mandela's late challenge caught a MaveriQ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanton Mandela helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Paris Saint city got a freekick which was hit by Stanton Mandela. After 43 minutes, Jafta Dinha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paris Saint city and the MaveriQ FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathibela Wanani made a kick off. Boyisani Machete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrice Vanker in the 60th minute of the match. Jafta Dinha in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jason Mathibe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some careless play in the Paris Saint city defense, Patrice Vanker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boyisani Machete. The Paris Saint city fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boyisani Machete should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jafta Dinha got free with Jason Mathibe in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jafta Dinha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jason Mathibe made a huge save. After 72 played minutes MaveriQ FC got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Thembe. In the 73rd minute, Rafael Thebile sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and MaveriQ FC's Jason Mathibe didn't even have to move. MaveriQ FC's Jason Mathibe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathibela Wanani in the 80th minute of play. Elias Arendse hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Rafael Thebile from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Jason Mathibe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 85th match minute, MaveriQ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jomo Maduna to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, Paris Saint city's Jafta Dinha made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jason Mathibe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patrice Vanker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Boyisani Machete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
