Lebang Mufumadi was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, Flamenguinho de iracema's Lebang Mufumadi got control of the ball when Elias Tshabalala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Tshabalala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lebang Mufumadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lebang Mufumadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thami Klaasens in the 22nd minute of play. Madolo Serage hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Thami Klaasens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 28 minutes, Elias Tshabalala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Middeldal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Tshabalala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Flamenguinho de iracema's Lebang Mufumadi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Flamenguinho de iracema from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Tshabalala got free with Lebang Mufumadi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thami Klaasens in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lebang Mufumadi saved Flamenguinho de iracema from getting behind. Enock King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Liau in the 37th minute of play. Thami Klaasens was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 46th minute Leon Liau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enock King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
In the 55th minute, Thami Klaasens made a precise shot to the right of Lebang Mufumadi. Flamenguinho de iracema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Elias Tshabalala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middeldal's supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Tshabalala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flamenguinho de iracema's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thami Klaasens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A collision led to Middeldal getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mpenza Collins hit a great ball. Leon Liau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enock King made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norman Sibeko in the 66th minute. The supporters of Flamenguinho de iracema booed when Middeldal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Webb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rdth minute of the game Leon Liau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Middeldal's Enock King was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Thami Klaasens made a precise shot to the right of Lebang Mufumadi. Flamenguinho de iracema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Thami Klaasens took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lebang Mufumadi. Lebang Mufumadi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. When Norman Sibeko came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flamenguinho de iracema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Sibeko couldn't finish the play. Henry Webb kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norman Sibeko got free with Enock King in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
