Shumani Khomane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lazarus Sephiri's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Shumani Khomane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucky Collins in the 22nd minute of the match. Allan Shongwe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Mbheki having to interfere. Norman Mathibe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Daniel Mbheki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Allan Shongwe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Mbheki. Allan Shongwe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Shumani Khomane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazarus Sephiri in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lazarus Sephiri stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Allan Shongwe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blenheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a rather tough play, Blenheim's Hoadley Mbheki got a free kick in the 71st minute. Mawetu Thobejane charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mawetu Thobejane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th minute, Mawetu Thobejane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lazarus Sephiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 85 minutes, Lazarus Sephiri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RUYAL MADRID UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lazarus Sephiri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Mbheki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Mathibe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Blenheim had won after a very even match.
