After a rather tough play, Mcotsho's Thami Ngake got a free kick in the 4th minute. Dumisane Cassim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lazarus Komani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mthunzi Maduna made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Mcotsho got a freekick which was hit by Mawetu Madima. Kenny Stoltz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jaak Taelma. Mcotsho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jaak Taelma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumisane Cassim in the 19th minute of play. If Dumisane Cassim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Dumisane Cassim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bloemspruit's supporters rose to their feet, but Dumisane Cassim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaak Taelma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dumisane Cassim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenny Mbheki in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaak Taelma saved Mcotsho from getting behind. Leslie Sephadi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mthunzi Maduna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mthunzi Maduna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lazarus Komani in the 33rd minute. In the 45th minute, Nicholas Sibeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumisane Cassim in the 46th minute of play forced Mcotsho's goalkeeper Jaak Taelma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenny Mbheki to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leslie Sephadi during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mcotsho's Leslie Sephadi got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With his leg Jaak Taelma managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Bloemspruit's Dumisane Cassim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 56th minute, Leslie Sephadi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timothy Radebe kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Leslie Sephadi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mthunzi Maduna was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. If Dumisane Cassim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mcotsho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Kenny Mbheki scored to the left of an out of position Jaak Taelma, making the score, 2-1. Dumisane Cassim might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaak Taelma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dumisane Cassim ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mcotsho's goalkeeper Jaak Taelma, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Leslie Sephadi came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mcotsho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leslie Sephadi couldn't finish the play. Dumisane Cassim who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Jaak Taelma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaak Taelma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kenny Mbheki's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Leslie Sephadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Mbheki took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaak Taelma. Jaak Taelma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 88th minute of the match, Kenny Mbheki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaak Taelma saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 91 minutes Mcotsho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kenny Stoltz who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute, Kenny Mbheki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Dumisane Cassim could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Jaak Taelma however easily saved by the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
