After some careless play in the KwaJaji defense, Alfred Takalani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mando Mumede. The KwaJaji fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mando Mumede should have stopped the shot. KwaJaji's Mando Mumede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thabo Mathibe in the 13th minute of play. Shakeel Mokatimi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Alfred Takalani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Steve Mabalane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maluleke FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KwaJaji the free kick. Steve Mabalane kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Mando Mumede made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Takalani in the 24th minute of play. Basil Wanani kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Ivan Sewele in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Meshack Tshabalala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 37th match minute, Maluleke FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Takalani to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Maluleke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sewele came free, but Meshack Tshabalala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thabo Mathibe in the 39th minute of play forced KwaJaji's goalkeeper Mando Mumede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 43 in the game by Ivan Sewele from a close distance when the talented Meshack Tshabalala managed to make a qualified save. Maluleke FC's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thabo Mathibe in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mando Mumede saved KwaJaji from getting behind.

The wind increased when Ivan Sewele made the kick off in the second half. 1-2 became the score in the 53rd minute when Jakob Konza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KwaJaji's Nick Nomvete got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 65th minute, Ivan Sewele got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Sewele in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Maluleke FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sewele came free, but Meshack Tshabalala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jakob Konza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maluleke FC's goalkeeper Meshack Tshabalala, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Sewele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meshack Tshabalala having to interfere. Ivan Sewele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Maluleke FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Lesego Bandura hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match Basil Wanani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Meshack Tshabalala skillfully saved the ball. Alfred Takalani succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 92nd playminute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Maluleke FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant KwaJaji side.
