Meshack Tshabalala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alfred Takalani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vuyo Dube made a huge save. In the 31st minute Thabo Mathibe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vuyo Dube saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boyisani Bandura kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thabo Mathibe to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bilge Kağan Özaltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bilge Kağan Özaltay in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meshack Tshabalala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Hotolos jk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Santander to maneuver through the defense. After 59 minutes, Severo Santander made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Boyisani Bandura hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Thabo Mathibe made a precise shot to the right of Vuyo Dube. Hotolos jk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Steve Mabalane fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 97 played minutes Maluleke FC got a freekick which was hit by Steve Mabalane. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
