Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dušan Šafran kicked off to start the match. Jozef Tomčo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Škultéty in the 3rd minute of play. Jozef Tomčo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislav Kajcer in the 5th minute of the match. If Ladislav Kajcer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Stano Škultéty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jozef Tomčo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ladislav Kajcer might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jozef Tomčo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislav Kajcer ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ladislav Kajcer in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jozef Tomčo saved Jovsa from getting behind. Stano Škultéty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jozef Tomčo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juraj Papiernik during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jovsa booed when Svinica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juraj Papiernik didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Šafran in the 26th minute of play forced Svinica's goalkeeper Gabriel Želínsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jozef Tomčo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stano Škultéty in the 31st minute of play. Jozef Tomčo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stano Škultéty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Želínsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislav Mitro in the 38th minute. Matej Radejovský kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Svinica's Tomáš Wagner broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Jovsa's goal looked a bit too open when Stano Škultéty came free, but Jozef Tomčo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Jovsa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Svinica were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stano Škultéty stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dušan Šafran might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Želínsky. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dušan Šafran ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislav Mitro in the 53rd minute of play forced Svinica's goalkeeper Gabriel Želínsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Svinica's zone, Ladislav Mitro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Želínsky came out of the goal and Ladislav Mitro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ladislav Kajcer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Jozef Tomčo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jozef Tomčo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stano Škultéty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Dušan Šafran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Želínsky. Svinica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dušan Šafran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Stano Škultéty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Kajcer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jozef Tomčo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Svinica's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Šafran came free, but Gabriel Želínsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Ladislav Mitro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Gabriel Želínsky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stano Škultéty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Tomčo having to interfere. Svinica's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
