In the 4thth minute of the game Daniel Korpáš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svinica's Gabriel Želínsky was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Svinica getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Roland Šimkovič hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Černák in the 6th minute of play forced Svinica's goalkeeper Gabriel Želínsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Roland Šimkovič came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Svinica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Šimkovič couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Svinica booed when Lieskovec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matúš Machata didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th match minute, Lieskovec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ľubomír Ogryzlo to maneuver through the defense. Ladislav Kajcer in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Miroslav Záhorský, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roland Šimkovič charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Šimkovič the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Daniel Korpáš managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gabriel Želínsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erik Černák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute, Erik Černák got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Korpáš to make the kick off. Daniel Korpáš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Želínsky having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Stano Škultéty made a precise shot to the right of Miroslav Záhorský. Lieskovec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Roland Šimkovič kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes, Erik Palúch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svinica and the Lieskovec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, one of Svinica:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Svinica. Daniel Korpáš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svinica's Gabriel Želínsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Korpáš in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Lukáč Kličko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Juraj Papiernik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svinica's supporters rose to their feet, but Juraj Papiernik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miroslav Záhorský breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
