Zuberec FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cernina FC the free kick. Juraj Janičkovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Puškár, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Bernard Kaňuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Kaňuk in the 25th minute of play forced Cernina FC's goalkeeper Tibor Oravík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 played minutes Cernina FC got a freekick which was hit by Boris Backo. If Matej Šimkovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Juraj Janičkovič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrej Pucher, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th match minute, Cernina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Krajíček to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Erik Puškár sped through Zuberec FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juraj Janičkovič. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cernina FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Zuberec FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
