When Ladislav Hamel came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the FK Vysoká fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ladislav Hamel couldn't finish the play. A hard shot by Martin Ondrejovič from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Marcel Školiak's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ladislav Hamel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Činčurák having to interfere. A hard shot 15 in the game by Martin Ondrejovič from a close distance when the talented Marcel Školiak managed to make a qualified save. FK Vysoká's players were relieved. When Martin Ondrejovič came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Buzitka FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Ondrejovič couldn't finish the play. If Igor Labanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Hamel scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Činčurák, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Ladislav Hamel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Vysoká's goalkeeper Marcel Školiak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Buzitka FC's zone, Roomet Lausmäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Činčurák came out of the goal and Roomet Lausmäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ladislav Hamel sped through Buzitka FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Peter Činčurák.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladislav Hamel was the one to do the kick off. Igor Labanc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Školiak having to interfere. When Martin Ondrejovič came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Buzitka FC fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Buzitka FC booed when FK Vysoká was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Žigmund Penkala didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, FK Vysoká's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Labanc came free, but Marcel Školiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislav Hamel struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Peter Činčurák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Vysoká. Marcel Školiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Ondrejovič, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Činčurák showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladislav Hamel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. FK Vysoká's Marcel Školiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Labanc in the 70th minute of play. If Erik Serbák had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ján Leškovič hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Martin Ondrejovič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcel Školiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Ondrejovič in the 92nd minute of the match. Marcel Školiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Labanc, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The FK Vysoká players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
