If Andrej Vanko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michal Rožman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Vanko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Marenčin's late challenge caught a Mestisko FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Marenčin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Partizan RajeckaDolina's Ivan Marenčin got a free kick in the 25th minute. The Mestisko FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Bába should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mestisko FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Andrej Vanko made the kick off in the second half. Michal Rožman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomáš Semenník in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Andrej Vanko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
