Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brutovce's Filip Knapík started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filip Knapík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ľubomír Palko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Ftáčnik in the 12th minute of play. Aurel Ftáčnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ľubomír Palko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aurel Ftáčnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ľubomír Palko was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Gejza Pollák clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 20 minutes, Matúš Kuba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brutovce and the Donovaly FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Donovaly FK booed when Brutovce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matúš Kuba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 minutes of play, Donovaly FK's Mojmír Pápež made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ľubomír Palko was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Miroslav Štetka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Donovaly FK got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Ftáčnik. Mojmír Pápež recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Knapík recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Donovaly FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Miroslav Štetka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gabriel Gajarský tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Pavol Holub was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Donovaly FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brutovce the free kick. In the 70th match minute, Donovaly FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavol Holub to maneuver through the defense. Brutovce's attack was well implemented in the 77th minute, but when Filip Knapík was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Brutovce's goalkeeper Ľubomír Palko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mojmír Pápež. In the 93rd match minute, Donovaly FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mojmír Dunák to maneuver through the defense. Miroslav Štetka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Donovaly FK's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Štetka came free, but Gabriel Gajarský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Polčák's late challenge caught a Brutovce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marek Polčák helped the player get up and apologised. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Donovaly FK! Andrej Ďumbier shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
