Stanislav Hýll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alexander Hollý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Richard Pavlacký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jozef Chmura in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Richard Pavlacký didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rohov FC. A collision led to Rohov FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vincent Kresák hit a great ball. FC Rapid Kolárovo's Jozef Mehalik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stanislav Hýll but with some difficulty. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jozef Chmura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rohov FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jozef Chmura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Pavlacký breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Rapid Kolárovo's Jozef Hurban got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
