When Harakovce's Michal Kremeň in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samo Rezeš in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Svatoš saved Republika Východu from getting behind. Stanislav Svatoš showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samo Rezeš, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samo Rezeš to make the kick off. In the 97thth minute of the game Samo Rezeš who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republika Východu's Stanislav Svatoš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Harakovce eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
