Anton Lindtner started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Lindtner in the 12th minute of play forced Medzibrod FK's goalkeeper Daniel Paluška to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Medzibrod FK got a freekick which was hit by Marek Dráb. Dušan Bebiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Medzibrod FK's goalkeeper Daniel Paluška, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mestisko's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Filip Žižka 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 27th minute Dušan Bebiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Paluška saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ľubomír Bučko kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Marek Dráb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Medzibrod FK's goal looked a bit too open when Dušan Bebiak came free, but Daniel Paluška reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Medzibrod FK's Miroslav Pročka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Bicák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Filip Žižka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dušan Bebiak's late challenge caught a Medzibrod FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dušan Bebiak helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Medzibrod FK booed when Mestisko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dušan Bebiak didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Filip Žižka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mestisko's Roman Bicák was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Bicák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Pročka in the 71st minute of the match. Anton Lindtner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Daniel Paluška tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Medzibrod FK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mestisko for a fine match.
