Anton Lindtner's late challenge caught a AS TRENČÍN 76's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Lindtner helped the player get up and apologised. Anton Lindtner hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Marek Elko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Lindtner in the 13th minute of the match. Marek Elko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Lindtner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 19th minute, Andrej Feldek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AS TRENČÍN 76's Marek Elko got control of the ball when Dušan Bebiak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dušan Bebiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marek Elko having to interfere. A collision led to AS TRENČÍN 76 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Andrej Feldek hit a great ball. Roman Bicák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ondrej Repčík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34thth minute of the game Anton Lindtner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AS TRENČÍN 76's Marek Elko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dušan Bebiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dušan Bebiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marek Elko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomáš Fratrič took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Bicák. Mestisko's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Róbert Mašša to strike the kick off in the second half. Dušan Bebiak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marek Elko having to make a save. Anton Lindtner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Mestisko's Anton Lindtner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marek Elko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AS TRENČÍN 76's Lukáš Rendľa got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AS TRENČÍN 76's Marek Elko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Bebiak in the 69th minute of play. Marek Elko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Lindtner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to AS TRENČÍN 76 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lukáš Rendľa hit a great ball. Mestisko's Anton Lindtner got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Lindtner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, AS TRENČÍN 76's Andrej Feldek got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of AS TRENČÍN 76 booed when Mestisko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislav Prokop didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Mestisko were the better team. Mestisko's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
